Mission : L'agence 51

L'agence 51
The story

Agency 51, an intergovernmental organisation classified as a defence secret, requires your services to save humanity from an imminent threat.
An encrypted message intercepted from space indicates that an extraterrestrial invasion is being prepared with the ultimate goal of exterminating humanity.
Long ago, aliens came to Earth to hide stones of power that would enable them, in due course, to accomplish their dark purpose.
Agency 51's research team found a way to stop the threat by turning the power of these stones against them.
A top-secret mission was launched to recover the stones but the field agent has just been captured.
Your special remote intervention team then immediately integrates the mission...

    Our opinion:

Trap Game is an excellent French-speaking company. Unfortunately, during our trip near the Swiss border a year and a half ago, I didn't manage to schedule a visit to them (but I'll take a rain check!).

So when we discovered that they offer an online adventure I was immediately excited.

The price: I'm going to address something that might put some people off. The room has a fixed cost, no matter if you play with 2 or 6 people. The price is in line with their irl venues, and with a Swiss price it may seem a bit more expensive than what we are used to seeing in France, BUT the adventure lasts 1h30 and there is such a work behind for the best possible immersion that honestly the price is justified.

The adventure: We are not received as usual on a zoom by our avatar, no... The beginning is so original that it surprises and destabilizes us. We start by doubting if we are in the kind of game we expected. In the end, everything is so logical and coherent that we quickly fall back on our feet and admire the beginning.

If you think that we find then the kind of escape that we are used to find in video, yes, but Trap Game goes much further. They offer us an adventure that goes through not one, not two, but three of their real rooms. What is even more surprising is that this will not prevent us from returning to play their rooms, because all the puzzles and the narrative are new.

The narrative is a real thread throughout the game, without ever taking over. We know where we are going, why and what to do. The flow and interaction are pleasant and the progression is punctuated by different actions.

The creators have really gone out of their way to create something original and very enjoyable to play and we have enjoyed discovering what they are offering. I'm honestly so impressed and delighted to see what the escapist managers come up with to keep us entertained despite the confinement and Trap Game has created a really fun and generous adventure.

    + We enjoyed +

    • The originality of the visio approach
    • Consistency in the actions
    • A rhythmic narrative that moves us forward
    • Gameplay that varies throughout the game
    • A very original beginning
    • Whether it is a quality adventure created only for visio
    • and that we can still go and play their rooms
    • A real role for our game mistress

    - We didn't like -

    • The impression of having rather few puzzles in the end

    For who?

    • Pour les amoureux de l’originalité
    • Pour ceux qui aiment les choses bien réfléchies jusque dans le détail

    Why play it?

    • Parce que c’est une super aventure très originale
    • Et qu’il faut soutenir les escapes
