Ah, here I am, finally playing a Greek Game over venue that has franchises all over the world (even in the south of France), but that doesn't really represent the quality of Greek venues.

We played one of their adventures proposed in visio in Lisbon: walking dead.

I have to admit that I find it hard to give a neutral opinion because I'm not a fan of the dirty themes of abandoned bunkers and zombies. This being said, I am open to be surprised in a positive way. Note already that this room, which normally lasts 60 minutes and proposed online in 75 minutes which is nice. A team used to playing online and escapes in general will end up in less, like us who saved Alan and Catarina in 48 minutes.

Game over Lisboa has chosen to use zoom as an interface so that we can chat and discover the room, but no inventory. We got used to playing with the whats app web application and sending us screenshots. We also write the codes we find as we go along in the discussion window of the zoom.

The sign has an interesting approach to the game itself. Alan is filming and Catarina is our hands. That means she's the one who opens the locks for example, but it's Alan who shows us the spaces and talks with us. We have already discovered 2 rooms with 1 cameraman and a GM, but each time it was a silent cameraman, leaving more "space" for the GM / actor. This was not the case here.

The place is as you can see on the picture of the room at the top of the article: dirty and neglected. But that's not really annoying in this kind of theme, we're not here to admire the decor, but to flee this place.

We start by discovering the place (which in the end will seem quite big to us). The puzzles are not easy, rather classic for the accustomed players and rather few in the end. There are some coherent and quite nice manipulations. The last puzzle can be problematic for some people, we were lucky that a member of our team (Jackie) had already met her in another room.

There are also some jumps scares that look good on screen and must be even nicer on the spot.

Alan and Catarina are very nice and quite cool.

The experience is generally nice, but not revolutionary. I'm happy to have played this room online which works pretty well as it is.

    + We enjoyed +

    • Consistent handling
    • A tough final puzzle
    • Nice jump scares
    • A lack of atmosphere even though the game masters did their best to convey their "fear"...
    • The size of the place

    - We didn't like -

    • Puzzles that are not very original
    • 2 Game master, that's not bad, but why?
    • A pretext story

    For who?

    • Pour ceux qui préfèrent avoir peur par écran interposé
    • Pour les débutants

    Why play it?

    • Pour découvrir l'enseigne
    • Pour la dernière énigme différente
    • Pour les "surprises"
