Be careful what you find in there! With it’s breathtaking environment and testing puzzles, it is recommended for more experienced players who have seen a couple of escape rooms before, as well as for experts.
It was in Budapest that the first escapees appeared in Europe. This capital has become for many a place of pilgrimage because there are many halls, but above all the quality - price ratio is very interesting.
During our very short trip to this city we noticed original themes, handcrafted rooms, but also rooms that are a little old and very classical.
Locked Game has 2 locations in Budapest and offers 3 of its rooms online. We chose to play Sevenhill.
Sevenhill is a hospital in which there were 3 deaths and 1 disappearance, so it's up to us to investigate.
Vil, our Game master will join us on zoom and chat with us. He explains us that this time there is no inventory, but he has two cameras, one of which remains frozen on our useful finds. As far as we are concerned, we are used to ask permission to take screens that we share on Whats app.
And we're ready to go. So when we discover the place we find it very dirty. I wonder if people have died there from depression or infection. Vil will start by going around the room (taking notes is quite useful). The pace of discovery is pleasant and Vil is very responsive to our various requests.
We will be surprised by quite a lot of large spaces, but not very different from each other.
The riddles, which are linear, follow each other quite clearly. We certainly find different elements for the puzzles to be solved later, but everything seems to flow smoothly for us. The puzzles are on the whole in the theme, one of the manipulations I particularly liked (I probably would have liked to do it on the spot), but their presence is not (as often) coherent.
The atmosphere was not at all frightening, nor heavy. Vil tells us "when I do this there's a scary sound coming from there, but as we don't hear it, we pass by. It's the hazards of online games, of course, but we've already been able to play rooms that offered online soundtracks for those who wanted.
In any case, this room is very nice, although classic on the whole. We had a great time, but I don't know if I would have made the trip to play it.
