Man... I don't know what the hell I just went through. Legendary Quest is a Ukrainian company that creates escapes. They've been looking for beta testers for their new online adventure. An escape? A video game? An action movie?
It's a little bit of both. They just proved to me that the only limit to creation is imagination.
After a rather long introductory video that explains the basic commands of this avatar and tries to explain the story we finally get to know him.
Project Avatar is an adventure in which you are going to command an avatar to get things for him to use such as food and energy drinks, but not only. As it progresses we will collect objects, discover huge places (500 m2 in total) and impressive videos.
Between video sessions, action scenes, a few (yes not many) riddles and our manipulation of an avatar (which made me laugh a lot!) we will spend 90 minutes immersed in a world different from ours.
As far as we're concerned it's hilarious to see how irrational players become when they can give orders to a game character who's also quite kick ass.
I've had my eyes and ears full of it and I'm curious what this sign will take us to next, as a more interactive sequel is planned.
