    Our opinion:

    By Snow & Saol

After having retrieved the first photo of the story from Nicéphore Niépce's house, we settle down a few minutes before our next time travel.

Here there are some games and we go to discover a game we didn't know (Concept). When Thomas proposes us to embark on our time travel, but sees that we have gone to discover the game, he takes the opportunity to sit down with us and explain the rules, without ever rushing us to go and get the water of youth in the 17th century. We love meeting players, fans of all king of games, for whom it is crucial to see that the players are having fun at his place.

But after a few minutes our curiosity pushes us to stop the game to go and play pirates.

After our previous trip to retrieve the first picture of history we get an even more moder time machine than the first one. What good news, moreover this time Thomas will be able to speak to us through time if necessary.

The story is told at length, I even took notes, we are looking for a fountain of youth that the famous pirate Francis Drake would have discovered off the coast of the Americas.

So off we go, but... it's not going to go as planned...

We'll leave the surprise to you and suggest you go and discover this room for yourself.

    We loved it, clearly!

The beginning surprised us a bit even if it's the only moment that doesn't give everyone the possibility to play at the same time, but that's going to change quickly.

First of all, I was very pleasantly surprised by the decor. Everything is coherent, realistic and really pretty. We like to touch, manipulate, turn over all the things we find there. We found ourselves calling out to each other through the pirate ship to let each know about our finds.

The sound atmosphere is particularly well worked out and plunges us into the adventure. We will continuously have the impression that we have to hurry to be under (pleasant) stress even when we are not. The play of light is also very relevant, even if it sometimes makes solving the puzzles a bit more difficult.

We will naturally split up to solve puzzles alone, in pairs, in threes, and even get together around the same puzzle. Everything here is fluid and flowing and I must say it is extremely enjoyable.  We go from feeling successful to feeling successful over and over again. It's really fluid and we feel "smart". From space to space the puzzles are very different from each other, but remain multilinear and flow into each other very fluently.

And then there is the narration which is intelligently brought, it will even surprise us thanks to a little twist in the story. Bravo, well done.

As always, it's complicated to describe what we experienced in this room, but we really loved it. We had fun, we were surprised.

    To sum up:

Go play this room and then while you're at it book their other room as well.
