You are sitting comfortably in your armchair with a cup of tea when your mobile phone rings. "Anonymous" is on the screen - probably still someone with some publicity. But your curiosity is greater and you answer it. The person on the other end of the line seems disturbed and their confused words don't make much sense at first. But you soon realize that someone is in danger and desperately needs your help...
Harz Escape is the first venue in Germany to offer an online version of the escape with an avatar. When we saw this morning that they had just opened another online adventure we immediately talked to a German blogger friend who in a few minutes had contacted the manager and here we are a few days later connected to the zoom of the sign.
This adventure begins in a very immersive way. We are immediately into the subject. Our Avatar is in a very bad position and we are his only hope. A victim previously locked up here has left clues to save Julia.
We really appreciated the care taken in the narration and the place coherent with the situation Julia is in. The puzzles follow one another in a very pleasant way. They were diverse and interesting. We didn't come up against any illogicality, which is rather pleasant. This is a room that was created during the lockdown, so there was no breathtaking decoration (at the same time it would have no logic) or mechanisms. Everything is rather classical (code lock), but not only.
Without encountering any major blockage we will finish after 48 minutes. I really liked the end, in fact I liked the whole room which, without being breathtaking, was a good room with good riddles.
I must confess that I was tempted to play their other room.
!! This is the review of a beta test graciously offered to us by the venue !!!
